Longhorn Steakhouse E. coli Outbreak
According to the Hamilton County Public Health Department in Ohio, at least 5 people became ill with E. coli O157:H7 infections after eating food at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Green Township, Ohio in December of 2012. All E. coli outbreak victims reported becoming ill with symptoms of E. coli infection between December 10 and 15, after eating food at the Longhorn.An investigation into the E. coli outbreak among customers of the Longhorn Steakhouse revealed that leafy greens were the likely source of E. coli at the restaurant.
